Golden Frames is a window treatment business based in St. Thomas, Ontario. We keep our handling of personal information simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you, we use it only for that purpose, and we handle it in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
When you submit our contact or product inquiry forms, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and your message (including, for product inquiries, the product you asked about). If you call or email us directly, we receive whatever details you choose to share. We do not ask for — and you should never send us — payment card numbers or other financial credentials through this website.
With your enquiry, we also save the form and product page used, the preceding website page, the page where your visit began, and any available referral website or campaign labels from your link. This helps our team understand the context of your request. These visit details are held in your browser tab using session storage, reset after 30 minutes of inactivity, and included when you submit a form. Your name, email, phone number and message are not put in that visit storage.
We use your contact details for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry — answering questions, scheduling your free in-home consultation, and preparing your quote. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
Form submissions are stored securely with the third-party hosting and database providers that run this website, and inquiry notifications are delivered to our business email. Access is limited to the people at Golden Frames who respond to inquiries. We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to serve you and to meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping needs.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. Some pages embed Google Maps to show our location and service areas; when a map loads, Google may collect data and set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. Links to our social media profiles take you to platforms governed by their own policies.
You may ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just contact us using the details below and we will respond as quickly as we can.
